Suzanne Klepp wrote in “The Writer Châtevin”: “If Bruce Châtevin goes fat again, the myopia, the yellow hairy, his life and reputation are not the same.” Book Review John Ryle said: In this way, Chatwin’s death is very different. In January 1989, when Château Wyvern died, his deadly AIDS pandemic was yet to be disclosed to others. His funeral was held in the Greek Orthodox Church in London. The whole process is even more mysterious: neither the friends in the language used for the funeral ceremony can understand it nor the time when he converted to the Greek Orthodox Church. At the ceremony held at the Hagia Sophia, we did not hear words of praise and farewell to him, did not hear about his growth process and the art road, or about his marriage, his illness and death. His personal charisma and artistic talent brought him hundreds of mourners, yet no one at the funeral said something. The whole church filled with the Greek solemn solemn, plus Chatwin their favorite exotic, which in the guests seems inevitable fun.
