The China International Publishing Group (CIPG) holds a special event entitled China in the Eyes of the British at the London Book Fair on March 12. The occasion marked the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the 65th anniversary of the establishment of China-UK diplomatic ties.
Liu Dawei (fi fth right), Vice President of the CIPG, said the event will help promote exchanges between the Chinese and the British on both a political and personal level.
The London Book Fair celebrated its 48th anniversary this year and the CIPG displayed over 600 titles of books in 26 languages.
