From 19 to 21 March 2002, a rare strong sandstorm occurred in the history of 1.4 million km2 in the north of our country, arousing special attention from the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Experts believe that although sandstorms are a natural phenomenon caused by many factors, improper agriculture and animal husbandry are the key factors that aggravate the harm of sandstorms. Therefore, we must take comprehensive technical measures to prevent and control sandstorms, and give full attention to agriculture
