The Fifth National Excavating Machinery Information and Academic Exchanges and the First Council of the Sixth Session were held in Ningbo on April 23-25, 2004. The participants from the excavator main engine factories, supporting parts factories, research institutes and other units attended the conference. Representatives of more than 100 people, foreign-funded enterprises and more than 20 foreign guests to discuss excavator market and technology trends. The opening ceremony held on the 24th was a grand occasion and Secretary-General Chen Zhengli presided over the meeting.
