Although all parties are accelerating the resumption of production, why the problem of shortage of masks has been delayed?
First, the gap in the demand for masks in China is still very large. Second, the key raw material for the production of masks, meltblown nonwovens, has a complicated production process and insufficient output. Third, the cost of various raw materials, transportation and labor has increased significantly. Fourth, at present, almost all domestically produced medical masks are uniformly managed and allocated.
Therefore, the tension of domestic masks may continue until the epidemic is under control. As the production capacity of masks continues to increase, once the epidemic situation has been alleviated, the market will respond quickly. For ordinary people, masks will no longer be difficult to buy.
