在近代早期的东西方贸易中,德意志商人一直追随伊比利亚半岛国家葡萄牙和西班牙从事海外拓殖活动,在东、西印度以及包括澳门在内的西太平洋经济区留下了商业足迹。本文选取威尔瑟商社和福格尔商社进行个案研究,特别关注威尔瑟—福格尔商社驻亚洲代表费迪南德·柯隆在果阿、马六甲和澳门的商业和政治活动。试图揭示德意志商人在近代早期欧洲大国错综复杂的争霸斗争中所起的作用,以及在以欧洲为中心的世界市场形成过程中所处的地位。
In the early days of East-West trade, German businessmen traced overseas colonial activities in Iberia, Portugal and Spain, leaving a commercial footprint in East and West Indies and in the Western Pacific Economic Area, including Macao. This paper selects case studies from Weersser and Fogel trading, with special attention paid to the business and political activities of Wilshire-Fogel Business Representative Asia in Ferdinand Cologne in Goa, Malacca and Macau. Trying to reveal the role of German businessmen in the intricacies of the hegemony struggles of the early European powers in early modern times and their position in the formation of the European-centered world market.
