艾薇菊·丹提卡是当代海地裔美籍黑人女作家,其处女作《息·望·忆》是一部展现海地女性血与泪的创伤小说。女主人公马汀一生遭遇了多重身体和心灵的创伤,而她所经历的个人和集体创伤实际上是小说家丹提卡对海地和美国父权制下的性别歧视、种族歧视的强烈控诉,旨在唤醒像马汀一样受到双重压迫的广大妇女的自我意识,鼓励她们为争取真正平等、独立、自由的权利而奋斗。
Ivy da Dan Tika is a contemporary Haitian-American black woman writer, his debut “interest, hope and memory” is a traumatic novel to show Haiti women’s blood and tears. Actress Martine suffered multiple physical and psychological traumas throughout her life, and the personal and collective traumas she experienced were in fact the novelist Dante’s strong complaint of sex discrimination and racial discrimination in Haiti and the United States, aiming to awaken Women, like Martin, are oppressed by the dual self-awareness of women and encourage them to fight for the right to true equality, independence and freedom.
