Objective To investigate the self-rated health status of reeducation-through-staff in western China and its influencing factors. Methods Twelve labor camps in Guangxi, Chongqing and Yunnan investigated 1721 reeducation-through-labor staff by random questionnaire to understand the self-rated health status and analyzed the influencing factors of reeducation-by-health status by Logistic regression model. Results The self-rated health status of 1721 reeducation-see-through workers was average, with an average score of 6.21 ± 2.00 (out of 10). The four factors such as drug use, physical activity, quality of sleep and family relationship had an impact on the self-rated health status of reeducation-through-labor (P <0.01), and the aggregation of multiple health risk behaviors had an impact on self-rated health status (P <0.01). Conclusion The specific health risk factors are significantly related to the self-rated health status of reeducation-through-labor and the aggregation of health risk factors can reduce the self-rated health status of reeducation-through-staff.
