大荔县位于关中东部,年平均气温摄氏13.3度,无霜期214天,降雨量537毫米。全县水浇地60多万亩,占集体耕地60%以上。水地粮食作物多系小麦、玉米,一年两熟,每年复种玉米30多万亩。为了克服复种争时矛盾,夺取秋麦两料的高产,我县从1974年来,试验、推广了玉米的麦行点播,1980年全县麦行点播玉米达到20万亩,占夏玉米面积的三分之二。实践证明:麦行点播玉米比收麦后直播玉米早种二十多天,早熟半月左右,从而较好地解决了复种两料争时晚播的恶性循环。这是抓秋促麦,夺取两料高产的一项卓有成效的措施。
Dali County, located in the eastern part of Guanzhong, the annual average temperature of 13.3 degrees Celsius, 214 days frost-free period, the rainfall of 537 mm. The county irrigated more than 60 acres, accounting for more than 60% of collective land. Water food crops and more lines of wheat, corn, twice a year, more than 300,000 acres of corn planted each year. In order to overcome the contradiction between multiple cropping disputes and seize the high yield of autumn and summer wheat, our county experimented and popularized the corn-based on-demand broadcast of corn in 1974. In 1980, the county’s wheat-based on-demand corn reached 200,000 mu, accounting for three Seconds. Practice has proved that the corn on-demand corn is better than the live broadcast of corn after receiving wheat as early as twenty days, about half a month early, so as to solve the vicious cycle of multiple cropping when the broadcast late. This is a fruitful measure to grab autumn wheat and seize two high-yield crops.
