The “swine flu” outbreak in Mexico spread over half of the earth within a few days. Equally alarming is that the swine flu from SARS, bird flu, and tuberculosis to the present has been more than ten years ago. The appearance of various new variants of viruses appears to be racing with human medical technology. Today, humans are experiencing the test of whether the pace of technological progress and global collaboration can outgrow new forms of virus mutation and transmission. The current pursuit of security by mankind has become the main appeal of developed countries. Even if modern infectious diseases do not cause mass deaths as before, their psychological impact on people should not be underestimated. Human’s emphasis on modern infectious diseases does not mean that human beings are more vulnerable to disease. Rather, it shows that as the quality of human life increases, the potential harm will be more sensitive. This will make the continuous emergence of modern infectious diseases to human beings Strike more serious. This requires that modern society continuously improve the ability to protect life.
