Through the analysis of the lead isotope ratios of the leaded pigments in the murals, this paper provides information on the pigments and other aspects of cave murals and related Buddhist art conservation scholars. Based on exploratory research in this article, it has been found that this method of analysis would be very useful for the coloration of pigments and for a better understanding of the geographical origin of their materials. On the larger side, this method of analysis opens the door for a more comprehensive study of lead isotope ratios in ancient art works in Central Asia. Lead isotope ratio analysis test requires very little sample size, only microgram-level samples. Even samples that have been analyzed by other tests, such as those that have undergone X-ray diffraction tests, are suitable for this type of analysis. Therefore, we do not need to take additional samples to take advantage of those samples that have been analyzed by other methods, so we can usually obtain valuable information.
