电炉炼钢具有固定投资小,主要以废钢为原料,消耗铁矿石、焦炭、水等资源少,占地面积小,可比能耗低,环境污染少,工厂可接近资源产地及市场,启动及停炉灵活等优点,符合全球可持续发展要求。笔者根据这些情况并结合贵阳地区的资源、市场等对在贵阳新建年产60万吨钢的电炉炼钢车间的可行性进行了分析。
