国外碳酸盐岩攻关工作主要采用地质、地球物理和钻井等综合方法,结合岩性岩相的研究,搞清构造形态,指明勘探方向。在碳酸盐岩沉积较浅,褶皱强烈,倾角大,断裂溶洞发育,表层复杂,潜水面低的地质条件复杂的地区,一般采用以地震为主的勘探方法,划分地层组系,查明产状要素和断层分布,综合研究构造的发展和分布规律,寻找碳酸盐岩地层油气藏。
