The equilibrium oxygen partial pressure of matte increases from 10 ~ (-11) atm to 10 ~ (~ -9) atm, while the equilibrium partial pressure of oxygen in the slag is always in the order of 10 ~ (-11) atm. During the copper making period, the balance oxygen partial pressure of white ice copper increases to 10 ~ (-3) atm, The equilibrium partial pressure of oxygen increased to 4.6 × 10 ~ (-5) atm (1513k). The thermodynamic data was used to calculate the oxygen activity and the oxygen concentration in blister copper.
