文学经典以其超越性和权威性长期以来在人们的精神生活中占据重要地位。从社会学视角考察经典现象可以发现,经典的超越性神话是历史地建构出来的,创造性背叛在经典建构过程中发挥着重要作用;经典的权威性是世俗权威干预文化批评的结果,是知识与权力之间暧昧关系的一种表现。西方文学经典论争,显示了政治正确和审美自律两种文学研究观念的冲突与整合状况,也揭示了人文教育在职业化、技术化潮流中所面临的危机。
With its transcendence and authority, literary classics has long occupied an important position in people’s spiritual life. From the perspective of sociology, we can find that the myth of transcendentalism is historically constructed. The creative betrayal plays an important role in the process of classics construction. The authoritativeness of classics is the result of secular authority intervening cultural criticism, A manifestation of the ambiguous relationship between powers. The debate on the western literary classics shows the conflict and integration of two literary research concepts: political correctness and aesthetic self-discipline. It also reveals the crisis faced by humanistic education in the professional and technical tide.
