自油画作为一种西式的艺术语言被介绍到国内以来,中西融合便成为中国油画发展的重要课题。与最早对这一问题进行探索的先辈们类似,当下的中国艺术家仍然面临着如何吸纳油画的元素,将中国文化的精神趣味转化为世界语言推向前台的责任。随着百年中西方文化的交流,二者糅合的广度和深度不断加强,为推动这一课题的前行提供了更好的基础,随着政治性诉求在绘画研究初衷中重要性的减弱,艺术家将目光更多的转向绘画语言自身,为不同的探索提供了新的可能性。
Since oil painting was introduced into China as a kind of western art language, integration of Chinese and Western cultures has become an important issue for the development of Chinese oil painting. Similar to the forerunners who first explored this issue, the contemporary Chinese artists still face the responsibility of absorbing the elements of oil painting and turning the spiritual interest of Chinese culture into the language of the world into the foreground. With the exchange of Chinese and Western cultures in the past 100 years, the breadth and depth of the blend of the two have been constantly strengthened, providing a better foundation for promoting this topic. As political appeal weakened in importance in the study of painting, Turning our attention more to the language of painting itself offers new possibilities for different explorations.
