Merlot-Ponty attempted to break through the doubts of dualism through his reflection on the primitive relationship between man and nature. In his later related writings, this relationship was given the name of interlacing and was illustrated on two relatively independent paths. One is the interrelationship between animal and human nature, ego and world as well as ego and others stated in the horizontal dimension in order to clarify the “original” relation between the body and the world; and second, to explore the language in the vertical dimension Creation in the inner sense reveals the interrelationships between the body and the mind, the visible and the invisible. These two paths eventually converged in the same language, body and source of thought, and in a new sense revealed the original connection between man and nature.
