Introduction Epoxy composites (abbreviated as GECM) reinforced with graphite fibers or carbon fibers have developed into high-quality aerospace structural materials for their high specific strength, high modulus and small specific gravity. Practical use shows that there is a serious problem of galvanic corrosion when graphite (carbon) fiber reinforced epoxy composites come in contact with metals or alloys.
