从对象上讲,《总目》之类序倾向于对学术史进行整体把握,具有宏观性;诸书之解题则侧重于对本书之得失进行详细品评,具有微观性。从方法上讲,“穷源竟委”的历时批评突出了批评客体的纵向坐标;“知人论世”的共时批评则凸现了批评客体的横向位置。《总目》之学术批评呈现出了宏观与微观、纵向与横向相结合的鲜明特色。
In terms of objects, the order of “Head” tends to grasp the whole academic history macroscopically; the problems of books are focused on the detailed evaluation of the pros and cons of the book, which is of a microcosmic nature. From a methodological point of view, the diachronic criticism of the “poorer source committee” highlights the longitudinal coordinates of the object of criticism; the synchronic criticism of “knowing the world about people” highlights the horizontal position of the object of criticism. The academic criticism of “Head of Head” presents distinctive features combining macro and micro, vertical and horizontal.
