OBJECTIVE: To investigate the impact of PDCA management on patient satisfaction in outpatient infusion sets to improve the safety of outpatient infusion. Methods: From March 2014 to September 2015, 52 patients with outpatient infusion in hospital were randomly divided into two groups: observation group and control group. Twenty-six patients in the control group received infusion and nursing with routine workflow of infusion room, and 26 patients in the observation group were treated with PDCA circulation management method. The two groups of patients satisfaction rate of nursing and the incidence of adverse reactions were observed and compared, and the infusion of the relevant safety issues in the process of analysis. Results: The satisfaction rate of the observation group was 96.15%, the satisfaction rate of the control group was 76.92%, and the adverse reaction rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion: The method of PDCA cycle management has high application value in outpatient infusion, which can effectively prevent the occurrence of iatrogenic infection and adverse reactions, thus effectively improving the nursing quality.
