中西两部不同时代,不同文本的作品《活着》和《等待戈多》之所以引起笔者的关注,在于二者之间的相同情境:对生存本真的拷问。在生命意识的契合点上,贝克特和余华告诉我们:生是苦难,生是空幻,但不同的是,贝克特以现代派的典型特征—焦灼的寻求和执拗消解着生的疑问,余华则以道家的风范走向了超然,二者在“聚会”后又“告别”。另外,文章试图通过抓住先锋派代表作家之一余华对生命意义的追问寻求一种真实:中国先锋派的“先锋”意义的转向。 一、生的苦难 荒诞派戏剧的主题依然是存在主义的一个重要命题:“世界是荒谬的,人生是痛苦的”①的延续。它要表现不合理的荒延世界中孤立无援的人生,以及人对这个不合理的世界所持的荒诞感情或荒诞态度。此境遇中的人们面临的是精神世界的危机和无所依的苦难。荒诞派戏剧的代表作《等待戈多》以“荒诞”艺术形式将人类生存的基本状况概括为“等待”,在这个痛苦的过程里拷问人们痛苦的灵魂。一条荒僻小路,路边一棵秃树,两个衣衫褴褛的流浪汉在等待戈多——荒凉凄楚的人类生存环境。 作为人类象征的两个流浪汉:戈戈和狄狄,处形干瘪,精神麻木,他们衣食无着,靠乞讨度日;他们对一切都茫然无知,只一味地等待戈多;他们的灵魂互相不能沟通,在等待中相互对话时总在“打
