英语教师除了在课堂40分钟内扮演好知识传授者的角色外,还应在各类课外英语活动中扮演好引导者角色。在学校的正常课堂教学之外,各类课外英语活动方式有很多种,大致分为两类:由学校、教师为提高学生英语学习兴趣而组织的课外英语活动和本身对英语有浓厚兴趣的学生自发组织的活动。在这些活动中,英语教师应采用恰当的教学策略,才能发挥课外英语活动的最大功效,学生才能真正从活动中受益。一、为学生指导活动方法,明确活动目的
