β—胡萝卜素是维生素A源,存在于植物与海藻类中,既可作为人类食品,又可作鱼、虾饵料。β—胡萝卜素对促进动物机体生长发育,影响细胞增殖与分化尤其是对上皮细胞分化,维持动物健康、发育、生殖均起着重要作用。据1971年美国加里福尼亚大学D·B·Rodriguez博士报道,β—胡萝卜素经鱼类摄食后还能转变为虾青素。这为β—胡萝卜素作为虾蟹类营养提供了理论基础。其代谢途径如下: β-胡萝卜素→异隐黄质酯→海胆酮→4-羟基-4-酮基β-胡萝卜素酯→斑蝥黄质→虾青素1.试验地点上海市金山对虾经营公司对虾养殖场。2.试验时间1987年8~11月。3.试验条件利用挂网割块,组成两个3亩面
Beta-carotene is a vitamin A source, exists in plants and seaweed, both as human food, but also for fish, shrimp feed. Beta-carotene plays an important role in promoting the growth and development of animal body, affecting cell proliferation and differentiation, especially for epithelial cell differentiation and maintaining animal health, development and reproduction.
