WTO多边协定主要是调整国际贸易关系的规则，但其中有不少协定都与投资有着直接和间接的关系，从而对各国外资法、双边投资条约和国际投资公约均产生深远的影响。中国一旦加入 WTO，其多边协定将立即对我国产生约束力，并将直接影响我国有关国际贸易和国际投资的政策和法制。认真研究 WTO多边协定的规则并尽快重构我国外资法以适应 WTO多边协议的要求，显得非常迫切和重要。
The WTO multilateral agreements mainly regulate the rules of international trade relations. However, many of these agreements have direct and indirect relations with the investment and thus exert far-reaching influence on foreign investment laws, bilateral investment treaties and international investment conventions. Once China joins the WTO, its multilateral agreements will immediately bind our country and will directly affect China's policies and legal systems concerning international trade and international investment. It is very urgent and important that we carefully study the rules of the WTO multilateral agreement and reconstruct our foreign investment law as soon as possible to meet the requirements of the WTO multilateral agreement.
