大足石刻的孔雀明王像共有三尊,北山、石门山、宝顶山各一尊,由于雕刻时代不同其形态也有所不同。本文在微观与宏观、整体与部分的纵横坐标系中比较研究了大足石刻三尊孔雀明王像的艺术形态特点,阐释了大足石刻北山、石门山、宝顶山三尊孔雀明王像的共性与个性,并探究了这种现象出现的原因与当时社会、思想形态之间的关系,说明南宋程朱理学的兴起与大足石刻儒、释、道三教合一的形成对大足石刻艺术形态变迁产生了重要的影响。
