世界文学问题已经成为当代文学界的一个热门话题,本刊特邀请国内外这方面的专家学者就这个话题各抒己见,作为对这个老话题的新认识。苏源熙将文学置于空间之下考察,描述了世界文学的不同维度,他认为世界文学的经典性与非经典性是相对的。普契纳作为《诺顿世界文学选》的主编,试图从可能的世界理论之角度,致力于研究具体的、能够突出文学创造整体世界的体裁,其中包括创世文学和科幻小说。在分析文学本体时,他提出了三个术语:参照、规模和模型,并参照这一范畴解释了文学作品中世界的状况。王宁认为,世界文学为不同国家和不同语境的读者提供了新的阅读窗口,并通过这一窗口来了解世界。世界文学绝不应当是各民族文学的简单总汇,它应该是各民族文学杰作的集大成者。一部文学作品成为世界文学必须经过翻译的中介,在另一个或另一些国家和民族的语言中具有持久的生命力和鲜活的影响力。同样,对文学的研究和评价也应当依循世界性的标准。但不同的民族和国家的不同语言应该有不同版本的世界文学。马汉广则强调了全球化语境下文学的世界性意义,今天我们重提世界文学这个话题,致力于探讨它的文化语境、立论基础以及现实意义,由此我们才能界定这个概念的确切含义,它的内涵与外延等等。李铭则从中国比较文学在中国的实践探讨了其与世界文学的内在联系。本期这一组专题讨论文章的作者分别从不同的角度切入来讨论世界文学,实际上形成了一种对话关系,对我们重新认识世界文学的意义不无裨益。
The issue of world literature has become a hot topic in contemporary literary circles. The magazine has invited experts and scholars from home and abroad to express their opinions on this topic as a new understanding of this old topic. Su Yuanxi investigated literature under the space and described the different dimensions of world literature. He considered that the classical and non-classical world literature are relative. Puchner, the editor-in-chief of Norton World Literature, sought to devote himself, from the perspective of possible world theory, to studying specific genres that highlight literature and create an entire world, including Creation literature and science fiction. In analyzing the noumenon of literature, he proposed three terms: reference, scale and model, and explained the status of the world in literary works by referring to this category. Wang Ning believes that world literature provides a new reading window for readers of different countries and different contexts, and through this window to understand the world. World literature should never be a simple syncretism of all nationalities literature. It should be a masterpiece of literary masterpieces of all ethnic groups. A literary work has to become an intermediary of world literature through translation and has lasting vitality and vivid influence in the language of another or other countries and nations. Similarly, the study and evaluation of literature should follow world standards. But different languages of different nations and countries should have different versions of world literature. Mahan Guang emphasized the worldwide significance of literature in the context of globalization. Today, we re-emphasize the topic of world literature and devote ourselves to exploring its cultural context, the basis for its argument and its practical significance. Only by so doing can we define the exact meaning of this concept, Its connotation and extension and so on. Li Ming explores the intrinsic connection between it and world literature from the practice of Chinese comparative literature in China. In this issue, the authors of this panel discuss the world literature from different perspectives and in fact form a dialogue relationship, which is of great help to us to re-understand the significance of world literature.
