本文对Kayne(1994)、Chomsky(1995a,1995b)、Epstein et al.(1998)等人关于语类排序的理论进行了批判性分析。分析发现,Kayne的表征式线性对应准则在确定语类排序上存在混乱之处,Epstein等人的先后顺序分辨原则是一个多余的规定,且自身存在难以解决的矛盾。有证据显示,句子的推导按照广义左向合并原则及语段分阶段进行,推导运算中的语类排序完全由推导式非对称性成分统制关系决定。
This article critically analyzes the theories of linguistic ordering by Kayne (1994), Chomsky (1995a, 1995b) and Epstein et al. (1998). The analysis shows that Kayne ’s linear correspondence criterion of representation has some confusion in determining the grammatical rankings. Epstein’ s principle of sequential discrimination is an unnecessary rule, and there are contradictions that can not be solved by itself. Evidence shows that the deduction of sentences follows the principle of generalized left-leaning and the stages of phrases, and the ordering of the genre in the derivation operation is entirely determined by the control of the inferential asymmetric components.
