Lingling Hydropower Equipment Factory is one of the ten professional manufacturers of large and medium-sized hydroelectric power generation equipment established by the Ministry of Machinery Industry. It is the backbone enterprise of the mechanical and electrical industry in Hunan Province. In 1988, it was officially approved by the Hunan Provincial Government as the hydropower equipment manufacturing industry.
