In the latest research on international history of the Cold War, new tendencies emerged. Western scholars represented by Gaidis and Lofler focused on the factors beyond the Cold War era such as the occurrence of the Cold War, the historical memories and cultural traditions in the process of development, Local and case issues are linked to the development of the entire world and globalization, exploring the root causes of the Cold War. Their elitist state-governing awareness and discussion of the forms of human social organization still carry the values of the United States and the western center.
