众所周知,词汇是英语学习的基础。因此一直以来,词汇教学是教学中的重中之重。但传统的词汇教学方法往往是机械的背诵,对短时记忆起到了一定的作用,但对于长时记忆及对词汇的灵活运用却效果不佳。随着认知语言学的崛起,隐喻被认为是语言产生的源泉。这一观点为英语词汇教学提供了新的视角。本文将从隐喻角度来分析隐喻与词汇的关系,并进一步探讨如何将其应用于词汇教学当中。
As we all know, vocabulary is the foundation of English learning. Therefore, vocabulary teaching has always been the top priority in teaching. However, the traditional method of vocabulary teaching is mechanical recitation, which plays a role in short-term memory. However, it is ineffective for long-term memory and the flexible use of vocabulary. With the rise of cognitive linguistics, metaphor is considered as the source of language. This view provides a new perspective for English vocabulary teaching. This article will analyze metaphor from the perspective of metaphor and vocabulary, and further explore how to apply it to vocabulary teaching.
