位于甘肃天水的麦积山石窟是陇右地区最重要的佛教遗存之一,比较完整地保存有北魏、西魏、北周、隋、唐、五代、宋、元、明、清等十余个朝代的泥塑、石雕等各类造像3938件10632身,以及壁画、碑碣、经卷文书等各类文物。麦积山石窟的开凿与营建在北周时期已基本完成,这段时间可谓是麦积山石窟历史上最辉煌、灿烂的篇章,它见证了魏晋南北朝时期外来佛教石窟艺术经丝绸之路传入中原内地的历史,也见证了其与中国传统文化碰撞、交流、融合、创新的过程。
The Maijishan Grottoes in Tianshui, Gansu Province, are one of the most important Buddhist relics in Longyou. They contain more than ten dynasties such as Northern Wei Dynasty, Western Wei Dynasty, Northern Zhou Dynasty, Sui Dynasty, Tang Dynasty, Five Dynasties, Song Dynasty, Yuan Dynasty, Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty Clay, stone and other types of statues 3938 pieces of 10632 body, as well as murals, tablets, scriptures and other cultural relics.
