As far as the existing ancient Chinese books are concerned, the majority of engraving printing methods are accounted for. Engraving general printing plate after writing, publishing carving version, printing workers printing, table workers decoration and other sectors. Writers are responsible for the original sample, write-like pattern in the layout after the carving is responsible for engraving according to the version; printing workers responsible for the ink brush; table workers also known as decorator, book binding. The publication of some books is a process of writing, carving, printing and other processes completed by one person, and some division of labor to perform their duties and accomplish cooperation. In the prosperous history of the book industry, the booklet often contains complicated or simple carving names, most of which are engraved under the engraving layout. Apart from expressing certain responsibilities, a carved name may at the time only be used as a basis for calculating the amount of work required to pay remuneration. However, since the work of carving has a certain degree of timeliness and geography, it provides clues for future generations to examine a region of imprinting books or engraving time, and then conduct version examinations and researches. The important part of the pre-written writing information in the book records are extremely rare.
