实现教育的现代化,是《中国教育改革和发展纲要》提出的战略目标,也是我们从事教育工作的战略指导方针.教育的现代化是一个发展的概念,也是一个改革的过程.教改,就是不断地自我完善,作为教改主体的行动,是为了完善社会的发展,完善公民的素质,完善教育的作用,完善自我的思想、智能.它比一般的教育工作更提出了教者加强修养的客观需要,又提供了加强修养的较好的可能条件.为了培养跨世纪的“四有”新人,深化教改实验,相应加强教师自我修养,应着重于三个方面.
