NKK公司开发了利用人工智能(AI)技术自动控制转炉熔炼,使熔炼后的钢水温度和碳含量控制在目标值的±10℃和±0.02%范围内。利用专家系统(ES)可连续测量钢水温度、碳含量、自动修整辅助原料投入量、铁矿石投入速度、炉口压力等各种运转条件。在转炉中预知渣的生成和从炉口喷渣的可能性有困难,因此,根据熟练操作人员的经验开发了ES。由于操作稳定,渣喷出率下降,熔炼时间缩短,操作人员减至1人。
