一对老夫妇,都是上个世纪二十年代出生的,1948年结婚,第二年男人去了台湾,女人留守内地。期间的乡思和相思之苦不必多说,难得的是,这对隔岸夫妻竟然一个不娶、一个不嫁,直到1988年7月,台湾当局允许老兵回大陆探亲,男人是最早一批回来的。两个白发人终于会合,男人在漫长的岁月里曾写下诗句：“何日乘风归去也,苏公堤上会伊人。”一朝成真,他们都流下了激动的泪水。
An elderly couple was born in the 1920s and married in 1948. The second year the men went to Taiwan and the women left the mainland. During this period, I did not need to say more about the homesickness and the Acacia. It is a rare thing that this couple did not marry one married couple. One did not marry until July 1988 when the Taiwan authorities allowed the veterans to return to mainland China to visit relatives. The men were among the earliest ones .
