A long, open-cut lens introduced my sight to “artificial landscape” years ago. As a result, I know the documentary’s “protagonist” photographer - Edward Burdinski. From the pictures of Berdinski’s images, the viewer can see the nature’s giving, creating a magnificent rivers and mountains and beautiful scenery. The industrial scenery is unique to human society and man-made landscape created by the materialistic society. Outside the beautiful image appearance, the hunger for human resources does not satisfy the harmony between the ambitious vision of mankind’s greed and the transformation of nature that never stagnates and the picture, and challenges the viewer’s aesthetic thinking.
