Many natural-resource professionals have been working to improve the existing fish stocks in the Yarkima River basin of the United States or to restore the already extinct fish stocks, and their recent initiative to build fishwalks at Cleerem Dam has received positive support. The physical, operational and biological factors considered in the conceptual design of the project, the fish-path facilities, and the fish release plan are presented.
