Objective To evaluate the safety of intravenous indocyanine green near infrared imaging for open partial nephrectomy and evaluate the feasibility of this technique for visualizing the renal vasculature and for differentiating tumor tissue from normal renal parenchyma. Methods The study was approved by the Ethics Committee and all patients were included in the study informed consent form. Clean the perirenal fat capsule to reveal the renal neoplasms and normal renal parenchyma around. Intravenous injection of indocyanine green was performed in patients undergoing intraoperative near-infrared imaging using the SPY detection imaging system. Intraoperative near-infrared video can be real-time display and differentiation of tumor and normal renal parenchyma, and display the renal vasculature. Results A total of 15 patients
