In recent years, with the reform of rice farming techniques in mountainous areas, great changes have taken place in the ecological environment. Blast has become an urgent problem to be solved in production. In order to find out the regularity of incidence and guide agricultural production, we investigated the occurrence of breed, resistance source, fertilization, climate and rice blast, and got the following results. First, the resistance of rice varieties directly related to the pathogenesis of rice blast. With the support of the Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences, we introduced 195 anti-rice blast varieties from all over the country in 1977 for resistance identification and found that there were only 22 varieties highly resistant to panicle blast.
