侯登科、胡武功是纪实摄影领域重要的摄影家,深入分析他们的摄影历程可以为当下提供一些有益的参照。《照相》系列丛书主编、摄影评论家潘科的新著《底片——探寻熟悉的陌生人》采用比较研究的方法,以影像为出发点,结合作者的亲身观察和摄影家的文论、日记、访谈等其他文本,对两位摄影家同一题材作品的创作及其所受影响的诸多因素进行了深入的分析和总结。两位摄影家的案例分析从研究方法上具有重要的参考和借鉴价值。本文摘录了原书中第四章的三个小节进行刊发,希望对读者有所帮助和启发。摘录时插图有调整,并将其中一节的小标题复作全文标题。同时,《中国摄影家》杂志通过邮件采访了此书作者,以问答的形式刊登于此文后,希望对于读者阅读《视觉的秩序》一文,深入了解此书的个案研究方法有所帮助。
