大学英语分层教学是各高校英语教学改革的趋势。我校的大学英语分层教学对不同层次、不同需求的学生制定不同的教学目标,采用不同的教学方式和综合的教学手段相结合的教学方法,利用段网络、多媒体软件等现代化的教学手,加之传统的课堂面授可以对学生进行切实有效的分层教学,体现了“因材施教”的教学原则。分层教学是我国高等院校大学英语教学改革的重大举措,它的实施有利于高校英语教学由传统模式向现代教学模式的转变,让“教”与“学”二者有机结合起来,达到主客体的统一。本文将从传统英语教学和分层教学在实际教学中的运用利弊进行比较,论述分级教学的优势。
