Objective: To clarify the effect of intermittent mattress suture in prevention and treatment of bleeding after cesarean section. Methods: From March 2008 to March 2012, 70 patients with high risk of bleeding after cesarean section were randomly divided into study group and control group, 35 cases in each group. The study group was treated with interrupting mattress suture, while the control group was treated with B- lynch prevention and treatment of cesarean section postpartum hemorrhage. Results: The successful rate of operation was 100.00% in the study group and 88.57% in the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P <0.05). The bleeding volume of the study group was significantly less than that of the control group Control group (P <0.05). There was no significant difference between the two groups in suture time, lochia time and intrauterine adhesions (P> 0.05). Conclusion: Intermittent mattress suture can effectively prevent bleeding after cesarean section and reduce the incidence of postpartum hemorrhage.
