“十五年赶超英国”是中国在“大跃进”时期一个非常盛行的口号,它是1957年11月18日毛泽东在莫斯科共产党和工人党代表会议上首先提出的。迄今为止,学术界公认这一口号在国内的公布时间是1957年12月2日。本文认为,这种说法并不准确,在此一个星期前,即1957年11月25日,《人民日报》就已经公布了这一口号。 “Fifteen years of catching up with Britain” is a very popular slogan of China during the “Great Leap Forward.” It was first proposed by Mao Zedong on November 18, 1957, at the meeting of the Communist and Workers’ Parties in Moscow. So far, the academia acknowledged that this slogan was released in China on December 2, 1957. This article argues that this statement is not accurate. Only a week ago, on November 25, 1957, the People’s Daily published this slogan.
