Objective To analyze the current situation of AIDS epidemic in Weifang in 2014 and provide a scientific basis for rational allocation of health resources and formulation of proper health policies. Methods We collected the data of Weifang City Network Report from 1992 to 2014, past sentinel surveillance data of HIV / AIDS, free AIDS counseling and testing and HIV antibody detection data of the whole city in the recent 5 years from 2010 to 2014, and analyzed the data. Results Weifang City found the first case of AIDS from 1992 to 2004, and the epidemic report showed a sporadic state. In 2010-2014, the epidemic of Weifang City increased rapidly with an average increase of 26.71%, especially in 2014 compared with 2013 50.64% of the cases were reported; the transmission of the reported cases was mainly sexual contact, of which heterosexual transmission was 46.20%, MSM was 36.32%, and age of onset was mainly 20-44 years (accounting for 80.57% of the total) The majority of peasants (including migrant workers) and laborers accounted for 53.63% of the total cases. The positive rate of voluntary counseling and testing between 2010 and 2014 was statistically significant (P <0.05), and the positive detection rate showed year by year Increase the trend. Conclusions The epidemic situation of AIDS in Weifang City is still in a low prevalence status. However, the epidemic situation of AIDS shows a clear upward trend. The situation of prevention and control is not optimistic. We should step up efforts in AIDS prevention and control and effectively curb the new infection rate of AIDS.
