２００１年ＮＢＡ全明星周末于２月１１～２月１３日在美国首都华盛顿举行。ＮＢＡ官方努力使全明星周末办得更加全球化，使其能成为全世界球迷的节日。而大量的球星也与球迷近距离的相互接触，参加联谊活动，在赛季中得到这个难得的空闲可以放松一下自己。对于他们来说全明星周末同样也是节日。
