三峡碾压混凝土（RCC）纵向围堰轴线长1191．5m，分上纵段、坝身段和下纵段。其中坝身段为永久Ⅰ组建筑物，长115m，堰顶185m，高146m（一期工程高51m）。在二期导流期间，纵向围堰与二期上下游土石横向围堰保护二期基坑。不设纵缝，仅设横缝，横缝上下游面均设两道紫铜片及一道排水槽，同时在上下游面常态混凝土防渗层内设诱导维。RCC标号为R90200号和R90150号。永久建筑物RCC选用525号中热水泥为主，Ⅰ级粉煤灰掺量为水泥用量的45％～58％。三级配RCC胶凝材料用量为160～180kg／m3。坝身段埋设冷却水管通水降温。
