三峡碾压混凝土(RCC)纵向围堰轴线长1191.5m,分上纵段、坝身段和下纵段。其中坝身段为永久Ⅰ组建筑物,长115m,堰顶185m,高146m(一期工程高51m)。在二期导流期间,纵向围堰与二期上下游土石横向围堰保护二期基坑。不设纵缝,仅设横缝,横缝上下游面均设两道紫铜片及一道排水槽,同时在上下游面常态混凝土防渗层内设诱导维。RCC标号为R90200号和R90150号。永久建筑物RCC选用525号中热水泥为主,Ⅰ级粉煤灰掺量为水泥用量的45%~58%。三级配RCC胶凝材料用量为160~180kg/m3。坝身段埋设冷却水管通水降温。
