早有朋友告诉我,潮剧界有位上海戏剧学院的校友管善裕,很有成就。而我是在最近七年间,由于多次到广州来担任一些艺术盛会的评委,才有机会欣赏到新时期的潮剧艺术和管善裕先生的近期佳作。我看到的有《终南魂》、《岳银瓶》、《边关情仇》、《葫芦庙》四出戏,虽然只是他的大量作品的一小部分,不足以全面了解他的艺术成就,但我还是为这位校友感到骄傲。他对于潮剧的贡献,就像苏石风先生之于越剧那样, A friend told me earlier that there was a lot of success with Guan Shanyu, an alumnus of the Shanghai Theater Academy, in Chao Opera.
