我校作为师范类大学多年来一直设有艺术,美术,体育专业。近年来,随着我国各大高校的扩招,我校艺,体类学生数量也在不断增加。同时,由于专业的特殊性,在招生过程中,艺,体类学生文化课的要求相对较低,导致了艺,体类学生的大学英语教学不同于一般的大学英语教学。据调查:在艺,体类学生大学英语教学中,全国各高校都不同程度存在很多困难,遇到很多问题,可以说流于形式,举步维艰。存在的问题概括如下:学生基础较差,缺乏良好的学习动机及学习习惯;同时,艺,体类专业的大学英语教学目标,教学计划,管理模式等方面也存在一些问题,例如缺乏适合的大学英语教材,依然沿用传统的教学方法,教学手段及管理方法,重视英语兴趣教学不够、缺乏针对性的英语教学方法,艺,体专业课学习与英语教学的有效结合、缺乏英语教学的师生互动等等。本文作者在多年教授艺,体类学生大学英语教学基础上,近年来在激发艺,体类学生学习大学英语兴趣策略上进行过一些思考,做了一些尝试,积累了一些经验,借此机会愿与同行分享,欢迎批评指正。

Based on many years of teaching college English teaching for arts and body students, the author has made some thoughts and experiences in stimulating art and college students’ interest in college English in recent years.
