Sariu Lake is a small and very small lake, it is located in Medog County, Tibet. You can not find it on the map of Tibet. Medog was the only county in our country not to have roads, because a mountain trail leading to the outside was closed by heavy snow in seven or eight months of the year. Moret has terrestrial island. The sarongs are in this “island” in the jungle, it is far away from people, and even the local Menba tribe seldom involved here. This is a pearl embedded in the magical Brahmaputra Grand Fjord. I’ve heard many stories about sarongs before I came to Tibet. These stories to sarong the lake covered with a mysterious veil, so I have long favorite. In 1993, during the overwintering study on the Great Fjord of the Brahmaputra River in Tibet Medog, I was fortunate to experience its charm and tranquility.
