由于环形件在近代工业中的用途十分广泛,对环形件的尺寸、断面形状、性能和所用材质等都提出了新的要求,因此,促进了环形件轧制生产技术的发展。特别是近代工业所需要的环形件多数是经过机械加工后使用的,而且,高级合金制造的环形件占有较大数量。为了节约贵重金属的损耗,减少切削加工量,降低制造成本。一些国家逐步发展了环形件的轧制生产技术。目前,环形件轧制生产技术的发展趋势,主要有以下几个方面。
